工程热力学对能源动力、建能、航空航天专业地学生超级重要,是学习其它专业课的基础,也是将来科研开发的基础,也就是说是将来的饭碗。

工程热力学课程是世界范围内超级的难学习、难教课程。

为什么这么难?

课程内容比较多、研究对象是气体、公式多、概念多、比较抽象。

很多学生开学初一般不好好学习,以为概念不重要,不重视,到了5-9周一些同学几乎听不懂老师在讲什么。原因是学生没有思考没有记住前面所学的概念。

教材不适合学生自学。我教了33年80余次本科生的66-77学时的工程热力学,只有个别学生可以看下去,而且是在课间休息时间不断提问的情况下进行的。

教师对课程的理解对教学也有很大影响,最近在网上看了几所名校的国家级精品工程热力学课程课堂录制视频,各有特色,有的有受益。教到第二定律的时候,从学生上课表情来看,有的大学学生是呆若木鸡(可能听不懂),有的大学学生是不耐烦(可能闲多了)。而广东海洋大学的学生这时候多数还听地津津有味,只有后面两排学生心不在焉。

还有更重要的原因是大、二三学生没有见过相关的设备没有见过,对设备和课程名词比较抽象。
